Hi there,
If you want to manually record camera video into computer, please read below instruction step by step.

1. Internet Explorer (IE) is recommended to record camera video.
2. You must Run Internet Explorer as "administrator" when record video

Notice: if you click run IE as administrator and then a window pops up automatically, it means only that pop-up window is running IE as administrator, so please access camera on that window and don't open another window to access camera.

Step 3: Please go to camera's setting to select the path of recording

Step 5: Please go to the path of recording to check video file(s).

Tips:
If you don't want to run IE browser as administrator when record video, please close your computer UAC (User Account Control) function, then there is no need to run browser as administrator. Every time you just need to selcet path and click on "reocrd" icon to record video.

Close UAC: Computer> Control Panel> Enter UAC> Switch to lower level

How to record JPT3815W and TR3818?
Our cameras supports all browsers viewing such as IE, firefox and safari except Chrome.

But if browser view wants the two-way audio and recording function, you must install a plug-in for browser to realize these functions.
At present, we just develop a plug-in for IE.
Therefore, only IE supports two way audio and recording function. (outdoor camera doesn't have two way audio
function)

There are two kinds of video.
One is the recording after you click the recording button on panel manually. You click it to begin recording and click it again to record.
Another one is alarm recording. Camera records automatically when it detects motion.

These two kinds of recording needs computer and browser on and they can only be saved into your computer's disk.

Below method is for both model 3815W and TR3818. Even if TR3818's interface looks different from 3815W, the method is totally the same.

Please access camera via IE.

If you can not see IE option even if you are using IE, here is method.

f you find you can not change the path of recording, please run IE as administrator like below picture.
Notice: if you click run IE as administrator and then a window pops up automatically, it means only that pop-up window is running IE as administrator, so please access camera on that window and don't open another window to access camera.

Please click recording button to begin and click it again to stop.
then go to the path of recording to check video file.
